The owner of this Eastbay 49 recently downsized from a Fleming 60, which he also stored and serviced at GIBY. Now he is counting on the GIBY team to update his “new” boat. The list is fairly long.

One tweak calls for raising the height of the salon settee. Steve C. recently completed the carpentry work for this change. Soon, the new pieces will be sanded and varnished to match the exisitng built-ins and new interior seat cushions will be fabricated and installed.

Once the boat is rolled into the Paint Bay, the hull will be refinished and a new name will be applied to the transom.

It won’t be long before this boat feels like home!
