When a boat leaves our care, we don’t always know exactly where, or how far, it will travel, but we do know the boat must be ready for anything!
The GIBY team worked on this vessel, JUPITER, a Grand Banks Aleutian RP 53, over a five-year period, from 2013 to 2017, servicing and refitting the boat in phases.
To our delight, in 2018, the owners spent five months (and 3000 nautical miles) cruising British Columbia and Alaska! This screen-shot, of their chart plotter, shows their track into to Ford’s Terror, one of the remotest and most challenging anchorages in southeast Alaska.
