To accommodate a life raft that’s being added to the hardtop of a Hunt 36, a riser was fabricated for the radar mast base. Brian milled and laminated layers of G10 and Coosa board, drilled a 2″ wire run, cut and shaped the block, and laminated all with thickened epoxy. He then milled and secured G10 veneers to the sides, block-sanded, and prepared all for painting.
While accessories for the new electronics package were installed on the freshly painted, elevated mast, Bobby routed, bundled, and hard-wired the cables below the headliner.
The new look is functional and sporty!
