Recent rigging updates aboard a Little Harbor 62 called for some unique modifications. One alteration was to remove an ancient Lewmar track and replace it with a new traveler featuring an Antal electric line driver. The new system is designed to provide maximum travel across the entire combing width and be easily operated from within the cockpit. Previously the aft enclosure needed to be removed to access the control lines. A stainless steel riser was fabricated to remove the camber from the deck and let the new track sit perfectly flat. Finding a place to house the gearcase and motor components for the line driver provided a bit of a challenge but ultimately led to the removal of a storage locker. This change required removing a hatch and glassing, fairing and painting over the void.
