A new Garmin electronics package is being installed aboard a Hinckley 51, as part of a winter refit project. To date, Bobby has run, dressed, and bundled network cables for the nav station and cockpit displays, while John H has modified the lower nav station instrument panel to accommodate the new electronics units. In preparation, John has stripped the existing backing plate, clamped and glued fresh pieces of teak and cherry, made new cutouts, and sanded the panel smooth.
