While our composites team “closed out” voids created by removing a pair of hydraulic trim tabs on a Mochi Dolphin 51, Jeff, one of our systems techs, began running a wire harness aft from the helm station. Jeff is now mounting a set of Zipwake interceptors to the lower transom and connecting the units to the wire harness. This intuitive, automatic control system is expected to enhance the boat’s performance and improve fuel efficiency significantly.
