In one week, Great Island Boat Yard provided “express” service for a Sabre 48 Salon Express. The boat arrived on a Thursday, to be hauled next day. The following Monday, the GIBY crew began deck repairs, which included matching the boat’s existing diamond pattern non-skid in the damaged area. Prep and finish of the new deck was completed in time to launch the boat the following Thursday, just one week later. Teamwork and careful time managment is key to this kind of project turnaround, particularly on the cusp of the busy fall hauling season.
