Matt M has begun to remove the teak toe rails, on a 1964 Pearson Vanguard 32. The rails are original to the boat. Needless to say, the old bedding material is no longer effective. The new rails, freshly bedded and refastened, will address water migration issues and stop persistent leaking. Several original port lights on the cabin house will also be removed and rebedded for the same reason.
